The compost chopper is a family invention, with Eddie Boes and Lillian Boes as the primary inventors.
Eddie has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and was previously a Master Gardener in Indiana through Purdue University. Lillian has a MS in Adult Learning and Human Resource Development from Virginia Tech and was previously a Master Gardener in South Dakota through the University of South Dakota Extension Office. She is currently a Master Gardener Intern through the Virginia Cooperative Extension. Both are avid gardeners in their own family gardens, as well as volunteers with community gardens and local organizations. |
